Dear Becky and Allen’s dear children,
Allen has just surprised us with his unexpected departure into the world of transparency.
If he could have chosen, I know he would have wanted to spend more time with you and give more kindness to you.
Allen knew how to listen, say things and rephrase in order to be constructive and move things forward.
Allen had my trust and deep respect both professionally and personally.
Allen, my friend, we have made many business trips together, sometimes also long drives on the roads of USA and Europe to meet customers. We shared dinners and hotel evenings where we talked about each other’s families and had beers together just to say that we were happy to be together.
Allen where you are, keep an eye on yours.
Allen where you are, as you know, I couldn’t send you a “dinghy boat” the challenge is too big this time. But who knows that one day it may be you who will send a “rescue boat” to those you love.
