Obituary
Michael Owen Witt, 56, of Peculiar, Missouri passed away Tuesday, March 12, 2019. A Memorial Service is scheduled for Saturday, March 23rd, 2019. Visitation from 9:00 – 11:00 am and service from 11:00 – 12:00 pm. Lunch will follow at Lane Avenue Baptist Church, 9003 E 87th St. Raytown, MO 64138. All are welcome. Memorial contributions may be made in his honor to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital.
He was proceeded in death by his mother, Katherine Smith; and his step father, W.H. Smith. He is survived by his father, Thomas Witt; his step mother, Cindy Witt; his daughter, Kaymon Brown; his son, Thomas Witt; and his fiancé, Risa Shay.

It’s very sad Mike is gone. I pray for strength to his children and friends.
Witt buddy you will be sorely missed. Loved your smile. Thanks for being you. I know how much you loved your kids and Risa. We will see your trail as you ride the skies.

So very sorry to hear of Mike’s passing! I went to high school with Mike and he always had the best smile! I know he is so proud of his children! Praying and thinking of his family and friends!

I lived next door to Mike and his family for many years, he was always very kind and fun loving. I’m not only sad but shocked to hear of his passing. I remember many evenings of hide n seek , talking, looking at stars. He will be missed by all who knew him. I’m sending prayers to his family and closest of friends, and his fiancé.
