Obituary

Raymond Curtis Perrussel was born October 24, 1928 in Florence, Kansas, Marion County, to Raymond Clifton and Hattie Irene Perrussel. He passed on January 15, 2019 in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.

The family moved to Salina, Kansas in 1938 and Raymond graduated from Salina High School in 1946. He then joined the United States Navy as part of a two year program given to the Seabees, who were tasked with dismantling many of the Pacific bases used during WWII.

Following his honorable discharge, Raymond entered Kansas State University and graduated in 1953 with a BS degree in Business. Retirement took him back to Salina until 2016, when he moved to John Knox Village in Lee’s Summit. He was an active member of the Village Church.

He leave a sister, Marjorie Ricklefs-Peterson; niece, Martha Huguet and husband Patrice, of Berkley Heights, NJ; and nephew, Robert Ricklefs and wife, Donna, of Overland Park, KS.

The cremains burial in the Historic Cemetery of Lee’s Summit, will take place on March 22, 2019 at 11am. Langsford Funeral Home in charge.
