Obituary
William LeRae Pointer (W.L), 81, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on the 6th day of August 2018. Services will be Thursday, August 9, 2018 at Langsford Funeral Home at 11am. Visitation will be from 10-11am. Burial in Mount Nebo Cemetery in Grand Pass, MO at 2:30pm with visitation at 2:00pm . In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Kindred Hospice Foundation, 3350 Riverwood Parkway, Ste. 1400, Atlanta, GA 30339.
William was born on February 19, 1937 in Waverly, MO to Emily Revae and Ray D. Pointer. He was a husband, father, farmer entrepreneur, banker, mayor, and judge.
He is preceded in death by his parents. Survivors include his wife, Nina Pointer; sons, Bill (Margo) Pointer, Derek (Dayle) Pointer, and Mark (Ed) Tobin; daughter, Michaelle Tobin; seven grandchildren; and eleven grandchildren.
