When you choose our independent, family-owned funeral home, your support stays entirely within the Lee’s Summit community. Cash, Check, Credit/Debit Card (3% transaction fee will apply to all card transactions)
Verifiable Life Insurance Policy
Verifiable means you are able to provide the policy number, beneficiary information, and coverage amounts to Langsford Funeral Home Inc. during the arrangement consultation and the policy can be verified by the carrier. The beneficiary must be willing to sign an assignment form for proceeds to be paid directly to the Funeral Home. We do not charge a fee or percentage to assign insurance policies. Some insurance companies cannot/will not verify some of this information. If your insurance carrier will not provide or verify the information needed to process an insurance assignment, the policy will not be accepted as a verified source of payment and other options (cash, check, credit card) must be presented by the arranger.
Pre-Arranged Funeral Policy
Pre-Arranged funeral plans sold by other funeral homes may be used at Langsford Funeral Home Inc. These outside pre-arranged plans will be used as a credit towards current costs on our General Price List. No Guarantee of outside Pre-Arrangements can be given. Only Langsford Pre-Arrangements are guaranteed at Langsford Funeral Home Inc.
Pre-arranged Funeral Plans
Since the 1960’s, Langsford’s has provided Pre-Arranged Funeral Plans for families to make funeral plans “pre-need”. These plans are available for burial, cremation or anatomical donation. This allows not only for the family to be spared the decisions that need to be made at a difficult time, but also to ensure the wishes of those making the arrangements. It is also an excellent inflation “hedge” by locking in the price of the funeral costs. This can provide years of savings and alleviate the financial burden on remaining family members at the time of passing. Our licensed staff can help you put together exactly what you wish and no salesperson will ever call.
Burial
Traditional burial services can be anything but traditional today! While many are surely rooted in tradition, both religious and secular, modern tastes and trends have become more and more prevalent. Whether you choose our beautiful chapel on site, a graveside service or at your home church, our staff of funeral directors and funeral professionals can help you design the perfect service to say just what you want, just how you want, all with the professionalism and dignity you expect from Langsford’s.
Cremation
Cremation has become more popular over recent years, but do you know all of the options available to you? Cremation may be chosen for many different reasons.
