Our hearts are with all of you as you grieve the passing of your father, grandfather and friend. We will always remember his willing smile and kindness.
I really enjoyed delivering meals to Boots and our talks. He was also a fantastic artist. My condolences to the family.
Our prayers are with you all. Boots was our deacon when we joined FBCLS in the mid 90’s. I was blessed to return the favor and bring the Lords Supper to him when he was homebound. We miss his smile.
Fondly remembered as a supporting member of First Baptist Church of LS.
Boots was one of a kind! Such a sweet man, and the hugs, nobody could hug like him. Of course, you may have bruises on your back! Kelly and David, your father was such a good man. I know you both took wonderful care of him, it’s obvious he was a good father because you both are wonderful men. Remember all the fun times you all had, it will help get you through this rough time ahead. RIP Boots! You are very loved and will be so very missed.
My entire family was very fond of Boots. He was a good man with a good heart and always cherished memories of my parents and grand parents. I will miss calling him every couple of months just to chat.
Dear David and Linda,
I’m so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.
You both have my sincerest sympathy.
I was raised by my Grandparents Avis and Bob Mallicoat (boots brother). Growing up I enjoyed going over and seeing Boots paintings- my grandpa shared many stories and was very proud of his brother.
