Aileen sat behind my husband and I along with other members of our church most every Sunday. We were all shocked to learn yesterday that she had passed. Aileen was so sweet and kind and always had a big smile. She loved the Chiefs and always liked to talk to my husband about how they were doing before time for the Pastor to begin the service. If she came in after the sermon had started she would always tap me on the shoulder to give me a hug and let me know she was there. I will miss this precious lady and I know many others feel the same. I pray for God’s comfort and peace over her family.

Aileen was the most compassionate person, never forgot a face and would do anything for you. You will be missed❤️

Aileen was a good friend and my four children’s P.E. teacher at Randall Elementary. She was not only a teacher but an important friend to many Randall families. My children loved Aileen’s P.E. class. When I would ask my children about their day at school they would usually tell what happened in P.E. class but not so much about the rest of their day. Mrs. Griffith’s name was mentioned often at home. Aileen worked at Dillard’s after she retired. My daughter always wanted to go and find Aileen when we were shopping. My daughter was excited to find her and visit with her. My family will always have fond memories of Aileen and will miss her big smile.

So sad to hear of her family’s loss.
She was always a kind woman and teacher. She will be remembered fondly.

Aileen was an amazing lady, awonderful teacher and friend! She loved all the kids, my 3 boys ,{Jason, Eric and Ryan Waters}really enjoyed her PE class, and like Sharon Redding said, that was the highlight of their day! She will surely be missed by so many people! R.I.P sweet lady…

Aileen was a good friend of ours. And a client of mine. I did her hair for over 20 years. She always brightened up the mood when she came into my shop. Everyone loved her whether they really knew her or not. She always referred to my husband as her brother and would introduce him to people as her brother. We were shocked to hear this news and will miss her and her smile very much❤️😢

I adored her. We had SO many great experiences together. I will miss her!🩷
I am better for knowing her!!

We are so sorry to just find out that Aileen passed away. She was such a good friend for over 50 years. She was always so proud of her son and his family. She was a very special woman and will be greatly missed!
