Anna Mae (Bernhardt) Atchison, age 93, died October 12, 2021, at Kansas City Hospice House.  She was a loving wife, mother, and friend to all who met her.

Anna Mae was preceded in death by her husband, Darrell Eugene Atchison.  They were married for 62 years.  They lived  in Lee’s Summit since 1958 and raised their four girls there.

She is survived by her daughters Gayle Curtis (Paul), Daphne Martin (Steven), Jolinda Hilburn (Patrick), and Anita Dowell (Peter), grandchildren Spencer Martin, Natalie Hilburn, Hunter Martin, and Darrick Hilburn.

She is survived by her brother John Bernhardt (Lee).

She was preceded in death  by her parents, nine brothers and sisters, and many in-laws, nephews and nieces.

Services were  held at Martin Luther Lutheran Church in Lee’s Summit. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Kansas City Hospice House, 12000 Wornall Road, Kansas City, Missouri 64145
