Anne Rose Millwater
April 1, 1933- December 9, 2024
It is with deep sadness we announce the passing of our mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, sister, aunt and friend, Anne Rose Millwater at the age of 91 years. She passed away peacefully in Lee’s Summit, MO on 12/09/2024.
Anne was born in New York, NY on 04/01/1933. In 1956 Anne and Jay were married in New York where they raised three children, Michael, Mariann and Jay. In 1980 they moved to Lee’s Summit, Missouri
where they lived for the next 44 years.
As the matriarch of the family, Anne embodied strength and resilience, unafraid to share her heart with those she loved. Anne enjoyed cooking for her family, soap operas and very much enjoyed playing slot machines at the casinos.
She will be dearly missed by her Husband Jay, Children Michael, Mariann Vivona (Robert), and Jay (Diane) as well as 7 Grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren. She is predeceased by her parents as well as two brothers and sister.
There will be a visitation at Langsford Funeral Home, 115 S.W. 3rd St. Lee’s Summit, MO 64063 on December 13, 2024, from 2:00-3:00pm. with a service starting at 3: 00p.m.
