Obituary

Audrey Mae Schrader Norris, 87 passed away October 3, 2018. Visitation will be Monday, October 8, 2018 at Langsford Funeral Home from 11-12pm. Services will begin at 12pm with burial to follow at Lee’s Summit Cemetery.

Audrey was born July 31, 1931 in Overton, Cooper County, MO to Charles Earl and Hattie Lydia Warmbrodt Schrader. She graduated from Prairie Home High School in 1948 and married Donald E. Norris, of Butler, MO on December 23, 1955. They had one son, Kent Michael Norris. Audrey worked for the Missouri Secretary of State for eight years, H. George Block Advertising for one year, J.C. Penny in Grandview, and as a teacher’s secretary for Grandview Senior High School for six years. She retired from the IRS in KCMO in August of 1991.

Audrey is preceded in death by her parents; husband, Donald and brother, Henry Charles. Survivors include her son, Kent Michael Norris; brother, Earl Dean (Thelma) Schrader; sister-in-law, Martha Schrader; three nephews; and several cousins.
