Obituary

Barabara Anne Menke (Reavis-Burdick) passed away after a long battle with emphysema.  She was one of six children born to Donna and Bill Reavis in Clay County, MO.  She is survived by her mother, Donna (Francis Sifers), siblings, Rich, Annette, Sandra and Mike, husband Dan Menke, mama’s boy, Steven Burdick and her favorite daughter Jennifer Gaureaux (spouse Jared Gautreaux).  Barbara also had 3 grandchildren whom she loved more than anything, Ashlee (24), Emily (6), Tyler (3) and one great grandson, Ayden (1). She is preceded in death by her father, son Jon and sister, Venita.

Barbara attended school in Grandview, Missouri.  She lived most of her life in Lee’s Summit before marrying Dan and moving to Independence.

There will be a visitation Friday, May 3rd from 5:30 pm-6:30 pm with services beginning at 6:30 pm at Langsford Funeral Home.  A private burial will take place May 4th in Cameron, Missouri.
