She had several interests in her life, one being an avid volunteer for the America Legion Auxiliary Fifth District Dept. of Missouri. This group helps young ladies with scholarships, grants, Girls State, and Girls Nation, sharing our patriotic pride to the next generation. Billie worked countless hours in Lee’s Summit hospital and in soup kitchens on Paseo. In her professional life, Billie was a medical assistant to many doctors. She loved her job. Billie’s biggest love was her family, she loved them dearly; ballroom dancing; and helping/serving people. Billie will be missed by the many who knew her. She was a wonderful and caring lady.
