Obituary
Carletta Shiflett, 90 of Brookfield, MO passed Sunday Jan. 27, 2019. Funeral services will be 1:00pm Friday Feb. 1, 2019 at Park Baptist Church in Brookfield, MO with visitation prior to services from noon – 1:00 at the church. Burial in Leclede Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Leukemia Society, 6811 Shawnee Mission Parkway, Suite 202, Mission, Kansas 66202.
Carletta was born Oct. 29, 1928 in Browning, MO. She retired from the Brookfield School Dist. She was a member of the Park Baptist Church as well as a 30 year member of the Eagles. She was a loving mother and grandmother and will be greatly missed.
She was preceded in death by husband Glenn Bragg who passed in 1957, her husband Bernie Glennell Shiflett who passed in 2010, her son Gary Bragg, her grandson Sean Bragg, her son in law Marian Wall and her twin brother Carl Jacobs.
Survivors include her children, Mike (Debra) Bragg, Darrell Bragg, Cheryl Bragg Wall, and Jimmy (Joni) Bragg; a host of grandchildren, and her sister in law Dolores Jacobs.
We were neighbors with Carletta for many years & she was such a beautiful lady. I remember her, her home, her garden were always neat as a pin. She was a wonderful lady & will be dearly missed.
She was a wonderful person who will be greatly missed. My deepest condolences to her family.
So very sorry to hear of Carletta’s passing. We only recently met her at Crown Care. My mom shared a room with her. She was so precious and such a kind woman. I know she will be missed.
