Obituary

Charles A.  Covey Jr. passed away August 6 2021.  He was a retired teamster, retiring from ABF truck line.  He loved being outdoors, fishing and hunting with his brother in laws.  He loved spending time with his grandkids and telling stories.  He was larger than life and will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents Charles and Lena Covey, wife Jean Covey and grandson Jordan House.  Charles is survived by his two daughters Regina Uptegrove and husband Barry of Leeton Mo, Krystle Tapko of Independence, Mo. His 7 grandchildren Eric Uptegrove, Samantha Shanley, Alex Uptegrove, Logan Uptegrove, Dane Dreisoerner, Ethan Driesoerner and Eliana Uptegrove and his 2 great grandchildren Avereigh Shanley and Jensen Uptegrove.
