Obituary

It is with heavy hearts and profound love that we announce the passing of Claudia Cline Morris, who departed this world on August 18, 2026. Born on July 29, 1944, in the serene town of Greenwood, Missouri, Claudia was a cherished daughter of Charles Cline and IvaLee Cline Meier. She was a woman of remarkable strength and warmth, whose life was a testament to the love she held for family, friends, and the simple joys of life.

Claudia’s journey was one filled with beauty and resilience. After bravely fighting a health battle, she now rests peacefully, reunited with her beloved husband, her parents, her stepfather, and her four brothers. She leaves behind a legacy of love and memories that will forever be cherished by those whose lives she touched.

A devoted mother and grandmother, Claudia’s family was the center of her world. Her children, Rebecca Lorenz (Doug) and Kevin Morris, along with her grandchildren—Cameron Sullivan(Alyssa) Nathan Sullivan , Brooke Sullivan (Jacob Farmer), Tara Frisch (Jackson), and Autumn Dovel (Easton)—were her pride and joy. Her five great-grandchildren, Harper, Makenna, Matthias, Joyanna, and Delilah, brought her endless happiness and laughter. Claudia is also survived by her brother, Denny Cline (Linda Cline), along with numerous nieces and nephews, each of whom held a special place in her heart.

Claudia’s love for antiques and all things country was more than a passion; it was a lifelong pursuit. She turned this passion into a thriving career as an antique and collectibles dealer at the Greenwood Antique Mall. Alongside her husband Fred, she found joy in attending auctions and taking antiquing trips, always on the hunt for hidden treasures. Her love for flowers and water gardens manifested in the beauty she cultivated in her own yard, creating a sanctuary that reflected her vibrant spirit.

Known for her generous heart and infectious enthusiasm, Claudia delighted in giving gifts and sharing her time with others. Her home was a haven of warmth and welcome, especially during family gatherings and seasonal celebrations, where her flair for decorating brought joy to all who visited.

In accordance with Claudia’s wishes, a private funeral ceremony will be held. The family extends their gratitude for the outpouring of love and support during this difficult time.

As we bid farewell to Claudia, we take comfort in the family’s special message: “You are now home. Greeted by Jesus and those that have gone before. Till we meet again.”

In lieu of flowers, the family kindly suggests that memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice in Claudia’s honor, celebrating the generous spirit that defined her life.
