Obituary

Connie L. Slavens, 69, of Carrollton, MO died on August 14, 2019, with her family by her side at St. Luke’s Hospital. Visitation will be Tuesday, August 20, 2019 at Langsford Funeral Home from 2-3pm and services at 3pm. Burial will follow at Lee’s Summit Cemetery.

Connie was preceded in death by the love of her life, Michael R. Slavens and parents, Claude and Mamie Smith. Connie leaves behind daughter, Michele Venis; six grandsons, Darren, Dustin, Dakota, Dakota C., Dillon, and Nick; three granddaughters, Mariah, Hally, Savannah; son-in-law, Bill Carey; and many friends and family.
