I am so sorry to learn of David’s passing. Some of you may know that David and I, along with Tim Cronley formed a 3-piece band during high school, and played school dances at O’Hara and other schools. I wish I could have connected with him earlier, but I had no contact info for him. I hope he was still playing his guitar, because he was AWESOME! Rest in peace, David.

Sorry to learn of David’s passing. I say him a few decades past & was surprised he remembered me. He had a hard life, but was always loved. That I know for sure!
Rest in peace David.

Dear David,

My condolences John over your loss. Sending thoughts and prayers to you and your family. May David Rest In Peace

Paul

I knew David in grade school and high school. Whenever a group of us gathered at the Hunter home, David was always kind. I remember him as an excellent athlete and guitar player. He had challenges later in life, but those do not take away from his inherent goodness. I’m sure he is now with God.

Those of you from O’Hara High School’s class of 1976, know that Dennis was an exemplary brother, visiting David regularly. Dennis was the one who found David passed out on the floor. He called 911 and then spent agonizing hour after hour with medical professionals. It is a Blessing and a Testament to David’s inherent goodness that he donated his body to others, organs and skin. David, with Dennis’s help, has thus saved the lives of many others–a sort of resurrection story that we can all appreciate.

Rest in Peace, David!

From everyone at John Calvin Manor ( where he lived) our deepest Condolences. He will be missed.

I am very sorry to hear of Dave’s death. I played music with him and enjoyed it very much. He was definitely a very talented guitarist. He will be missed. Farewell my dear friend.
