Obituary
Deanna Lynn Moore, 54, passed away on September 27, 2025. She was a devoted partner, treasured sister and twin, and a bright presence in the lives of all who knew and loved her.
Deanna is survived by her wife, Robin R. Hand, and their two children, Aeron Johnson and Lauren Johnson. She was a beloved twin to Diana Pollock and a sister to Jim O’Hare, Brenda Link, Debbie Floore, Kathy Robinson, and Lisa Knab. Deanna adored her extended family and took enormous joy in her seven nieces and five nephews, who regarded her with affection, laughter, and love.
Generous, warm, and fiercely loyal to her family and friends, Deanna always had a way of making ordinary moments feel important. She had a passionate curiosity for British culture, and American history, and was one of the biggest Star Wars fans there could be. These interests that brought her great joy throughout her life. She will be remembered for her infinite kindness, her unwavering joy, and the care she showed to those around her.
A visitation will be held at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri on Tuesday, October 7, 2025 from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. with service to follow at 2:00 p.m.

Deanna, I’ll always miss our laughs, Star Wars talks, and your silly cat photos and videos. You always were able to cheer me up and put a smile on my face after the worst 911 calls, and I’ll never be able to thank you enough. Devastated about your loss, but so happy that your pain can subside and you can finally hug your mom again. Until we meet again, my friend.
Deanna was as sweet as they come. I loved talking to her about our pets. She was always very nice and would go out of her way for you. I hope she is at peace, not suffering and reunited with her mother and sister. Rest easy, Deanna. Thinking of all of her family still here on earth.
