Obituary
Donald Joe Haines (Joe), 86, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away January 29, 2025, at St. Lukes East Hospital. He was born April 20, 1938, in Linn Creek, MO, the son of Stanley and Christina (Hutcheson) Haines.
Donald was married to Barbara from 1965 until January 2024. He earned a master’s degree in education and worked as a teacher and counselor for the Raytown School District. He enjoyed going hunting, fishing and basketball.
In addition to his parents, he was predeceased by his wife, Barbara and 2 sons, Brian and Kevin. Survivors include two grandsons, Andrea Haines and Jack Haines, both of Lee’s Summit, MO.
