Obituary
Donna Jean Ferguson, 83, passed away peacefully on December 11, 2018. Born June 30, 1935 in Yates Center, KS, she was the fourth child of G.O. and Frances Talley. She met and married Donald “Don” Ferguson in Altoona, KS. They remained married for 64 years during which they raised 4 children. Donna discovered and fell in love with ballroom dancing in her adult years. Don joined her in this love that soon expanded into performing, teaching and competing in country-western dance and performing with square dance group. She also loved working her word searches and collecting porcelain dolls.
Donna is survived by her loving husband, Don, her grateful children Ted (Merrie) Ferguson, Brenda (David) Ferguson Weidinger, Lesley Ferguson and D.J. (Tsuneo) Ferguson Ph.D. , five grandchildren and two great-grandsons.
Visitation will be Saturday, December 15, 2018 at Langsford Funeral Home from 11:30-1pm. Graveside services at 1pm at Floral Hills East Cemetery in Lee’s Summit, MO. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the Alzheimer’s Association.
