Obituary

Kappmeier, Donna Jo died August 8, 2023 at the age of 76.

Donna graduated top of her class from Montrose High School. Donna attended Central Missouri State University and California State Fullerton, obtaining a bachelor’s degree in accounting. Donna went on to retire from The Boeing Company. Donna and her husband dedicated many years to owning and showing Salukis. They were proud members of the Saluki Club of America.

She was predeceased by her husband of 47 years Colonel Jay Anderson Kappmeier, they were truly lucky to have found a true friend and life partner in each other, her parents Bernard and Ramah (Helen) Engeman, and her brother David Engeman. She left behind two brothers Dale Engeman (Wendy), Dennis Engeman (Shawna), and sister in-law Mary June Engeman (David) as well as countless other family and friends.
