Obituary

Doris Katheryn (Krabiel) Kirlin, 89, of Raytown, MO, passed away Saturday, November 6th, 2021. A graveside service celebrating her life will be at 11:00 a.m. Wednesday, November 10th, in the Memorial Gardens of Newcomer’s Floral Hills Cemetery in Raytown, MO.

Doris was born May 6, 1932 in Talala, OK, to Oma and Cicero Capehart. Doris was an active member of the First Assembly of God Church in Raytown, MO, during her younger years. She enjoyed caring for young children in addition to her own. Doris was a sweet and loving sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, and a friend to all. She touched many lives and will be greatly missed by all who knew her.

She was preceded in death by her parents, Oma and Cicero Capehart; spouses, Frederick Krabiel and Joseph Kirlin; son, Mike Krabiel; grandsons, Michael O’Dell and CJ Krabiel; brother, Howard Capehart and sister, Frances Melton. Survivors include her children: Gary (Kate) Krabiel, Sherry Wilson, and Mark (Debbie) Krabiel; her grandchildren Timothy (Jessie) Krabiel, Kristi (Nate) Holden, Tiffany (John) Maddox, and Kelsi (Joshua) Sword; her sisters, Lettie (John) Upchurch, Maudie Goins, and Sue Haney; and seven great-grandchildren.

Arrangements are under direction of Langsford Funeral Home of Lee’s Summit, MO.
