Cheryl’s sweet spirit will be missed. May her family be comforted with warm memories of her loving heart.
We are so very sorry for your loss, Carl and family. Cheryl was a tremendous woman of God, who all these years later STILL was sending us birthday greetings…and for our children, too!! Whether it was picking us up at the Dakar airport at 0-dark-thirty, or providing a meal, grace & smiles were always in abundance. “Let the peoples praise you, O God; let all the peoples praise you!” Much love & thankfulness for the privilege of knowing Cheryl, Chris & Karen
Our hearts grieve with Carl and all the family, but we rejoice with Cheryl who now knows what our Savior, Jesus Christ, looks like. What joy she is experiencing! May God’s comfort and peace be real in each of your hearts!
Cheryl was such a treasure and a constant source of encouragement of joy in the short time I knew her. She is now away from the body and with the Lord. To be in love with the Savior and united to him, there is no greater joy or honor. You will be rejoicing ever more Cheryl!
Isaiah 35:10
And the ransomed of the LORD will return And come with joyful shouting to Zion, With everlasting joy upon their heads They will find gladness and joy, And sorrow and sighing will flee away.
I so much admired and was amazed by Cheryl’s spirit and love for others. I am so glad I was able to get to know her through DAR. I am so sorry for your loss. Her presence will be missed.
Carl, we will always treasure our memories of you and Cheryl in Dakar when we came in as volunteers. Joe and I send our condolences.

Cheryl will be greatly missed at our DAR meetings! I am so sorry to hear of her passing! Many prayers and blessings to all of you who were her family and closest friends! Please know our hearts are with you!
The most beautiful angel has made her way home with God. Cheryl and I raised each of our 2 boys together and have been friends and prayer pals for 35 years. She was the most unselfish human on this earth. She was always about nurturing and caring for all in her life. God be with you Carl, Charles, Robbie and family. I could have never had a dearer and better friend than my Cheryl. Thank you God for her.
Aunt Cheryl we will miss you, for as long as I can remember Aunt Cheryl was a bundle of endless energy and love that left most of us struggling to try and keep up with her. I often have wondered how God managed to pack so much love and energy into one person.
Our Love and Prayers

I got to know Cheryl in our DAR time together. She was always gracious, thoughtful, gentle, and kind. She had such a sweet spirit and spread the love of Jesus so freely to us all. We will truly miss you Cheryl and we pray the Lord Jesus will comfort your dear family as they grieve your loss.
I was so blessed to have met and worked with Cheryl the last years she worked. I will never meet another person so kind and caring.
She not only brought monthly birthday cakes to our unit nurses after she retired, she also left birthday greeting on my phone.
She will be missed.
