She was born April 17, 1926 in Chicago, Il.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond Matras.

Survivors include her daughter, Deborah (Ralph); grand daughters, Lilly and Hannah Westphal; sister, Evelyn McCune along with many nieces and nephews.
