Frances G. LePage

December 18, 1928 – February 20, 2021

Frances G. LePage, age 92, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away on February 20, 2021, at 6:00 PM at Foxwood Springs Retirement Community in Raymore, MO, where she was also affectionately known as “Frankie.” She was born in Grainfield, Kansas on December 18, 1928 to Fred Isaac Wolfe & Ethel May Wrightsman Wolfe.

She married the love of her life, Phil LePage, on November 21, 1966, who survives her. They were married 54 years. A homemaker, she worked hard to maintain the home while raising their blended family of nine children. She used to say that the local neighborhood swimming pool was a lifesaver. She worked at Western Electric at the time they began dating. She also worked as the office manager at LePage Aviation Flight School for years with Dad.

Additional survivors are Patti Jo Nitz and her husband, Charlie, of Independence, MO; Michael Patrick Murphy and his wife, Cindy, of Raytown, MO; Brian Donald Murphy and his late wife, Marguerite, of Lake of the Ozarks, MO; Michael Phillip LePage and his late wife, Betty, of Caddo Mills, Texas; Mary Ann Swisher and her husband, Michael Paul Swisher, of Lee’s Summit, MO; Sharon Kay LePage-Erwin and her husband, Grant Erwin, of Tacoma, Washington; and Daniel Louis LePage and his wife, Cheri, of Kansas City, MO; and at last count 22 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and 6 great-great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, brothers, Don and Roy Wolfe, and her sister, Dorothy Miller, she was preceded in death by her daughter, Shannon Kathleen Thomas, and her son, James “Jimmy” Joseph LePage.

Funeral services will be held at Our Lady of the Presentation Catholic Church at 11:00 a.m on February 26,2021  with visitation just prior to 10:00-11:00 a.m. in the main gathering space. Masks and social distancing guidelines will be observed during services. Graveside services will follow at the Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery.
