Great Friend. He will be missed. Prayers and condolences
I had an Art class with Greg in High School (LSHS Class of 1974). His quiet sense of humor made that class all the more enjoyable. Even then, he dreamed of getting a degree in Wild Life management and working for the MDC. Looks like he fulfilled that dream. Lost touch with him over the years, but always remembered his friendship. May the Lord grant comfort to his wife, family and friends during this time of loss and grief.
I especially loved his plate sized pancakes. To me he was a uncle teddy bear. Going to love and miss you uncle.
Greg was one of my best friends growing up in LS. I spent many days and evenings listening to country music, cruising L S and Lake Jacomo and talking with him. He was always kind and supportive. (His family including Roger, Opal, Brad and Lisa and later Sarah were all very close to me and still are.) Rest in Peace.
Prayers for you and your famialy . I was blessed to meet . Most of you for Roger was my life long ! Well I lved across the street . From him . Im in your prayers 🙏. God bless

Greg was a good guy and he works with my mom Mary at the James A Reed Wildlife area.
As a friend of one of Greg’s neighbors, I waved to both him and Jeanette many times and was moved by how friendly and caring Greg was to everyone in his sphere of influence. The world needs more people like this!!! What we can do now is to pass his caring nature on to our sphere of influence!
You once told me that your idea of heaven is wading in flooded timber with whistling wings over your head. I guess only a duck hunter would understand that. I’m glad that you are there doing the sport that you always loved so much. Thank you for all of the memories of the many hunting and fishing trips that we had together. You will always be with me in spirit my friend. Rest well and God Bless.
The time spent working with you and the many days spent in the duck marshes are memories I have cared with me my entire life. I’ll miss your great sense of humor. Rest in peace my friend.

I will always remember Greg’s kindness at his attendance at my mother’s funeral. I looked up at him and saw a beautiful spirit inside of him . I will never forget his smiling face.
May flights of angels sing thee to thy rest..
Our cousin, Greg a gentle giant with a heart of gold-a special soul who touched many lives with his kindness, joy, humor, strength and love of life.

Whenever my coworker, Joette was off work, Greg would make a point to come through my line. He was part of my ” fan club.” He would tell the best stories and make me laugh 😃 Greg will be missed. My condolences to the family and all who knew and loved him. Hy-Vee will not be the same without his smile.
