Obituary
Helen June Mason, 98 passed away May 2,2022.
Born May 15,1923 in Vermillion, Kansas to William and Pauline Chadwick. She graduated from Vermillion High School in 1941 and went to Kansas City to work at the Federal Reserve in their clerical area. While in Kansas City, she met John Owen Mason and they were married on March 25, 1950. They settled in Kansas City where they raised their two boy’s. She was a den mother and an elementary school volunteer. John and Helen were married for 65 years at the time of his passing in 2015. She was a great mother and devoted to family and friends.
Survivors are two sons, William (Linda) Mason, John (Jeanne) Mason. Three grandchildren, Grant (Lana) Mason, Marissa (Zack) Wilkie, and Megan Mason. Three great-grandsons, Van Mason, Wes Mason and Wesley Wilkie.
Graveside services will be held at Vermillion Cemetery, Vermillion Kansas at a later date.
