Obituary
Helen Marie Chamberlin, 96, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri, passed away on Saturday, December 1, 2018 at Village Hospice in Lee’s Summit. A visitation is scheduled from 6:00 – 8:00 PM on Thursday, December 6, 2018 at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit. A Rosary will be at 7:00 PM. Mass of Christian Burial will be at 11:00 AM on Friday, December 7, 2018 at Our Lady of Presentation Catholic Church in Lee’s Summit. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to One Good Meal of Lee’s Summit.
Helen was born on November 29, 1922 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Joseph and Gertrude (Held) Kempner. She attended St. Joseph Church, graduated from St. Joseph Catholic School, and graduated from Mishawaka High School in 1940. She worked at TB League, Notre Dame, and Our Lady of Presentation Catholic School in Lee’s Summit where she also attended church.
Helen was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Robert B. Chamberlin; brother, Eugene; sister, Mildred; and grandsons, Ryan Phelps and Ben Doebele. She is survived by her sister, Doris; brother, Richard; her 5 children; 6 grandchildren; 11 great grandchildren; and 3 great great grandchildren.

My condolences and prayers to your family. I knew your amazing Mom for over 50 years. She always so loving and kind. We shared many laughs over the years. She will be missed by many.

She was a wonderful lady. Knew her in Mishawaka. She was always kind to me as a kid growing up. Prayers for the family.
