J. Aileene Peery, February 18, 1934 – October 3, 2021
Lee’s Summit, MO – Aileene Peery passed away peacefully on Monday, October 4th. Her husband, Donald L. Peery preceded her in death in 2018 after 66 years of marriage.
Aileene’s greatest joys in life included watching her children and grandchildren show horses and play all kinds of sports. She also loved to cheer on the KC Chiefs, Royals, KU Basketball and going to the horse races. She graduated from Grain Valley High School and played basketball with a ladies competitive traveling team.
She is survived by her children, Tom Peery and wife Melissa, Durk Peery and wife Trish, Mindy (Peery) Anderson and husband Steve, Darin Peery, 6 grandchildren, and 8 great grandchildren.
Aileene was a member of the Lone Jack Baptist Church.
She was also preceded in death by her parents Everett and Fern Corn of Grain Valley, and her sister, Mildred Baldwin.
A graveside service will be held at the Lone Jack Cemetery Tuesday, October 5th at 1:00.

Aileen was a very kind and caring women. I will always remember and cherish the times she showed me compassion. My condolences for your loss; though I know she is in a much better place, dancing with Jesus.
