Obituary

Jack Everett “Chad” Goold III, 46, of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on February 17, 2018 at Research Medical Center. Visitation will be held on Friday, February 23, 2018 from 6-8pm at Langsford Funeral Home. Services will be held at 10:30am, Saturday February 24, 2018 at Langsford Funeral Home In Lee’s Summit, MO. Burial to follow at Lee’s Summit Historical Cemetery. Memorial contributions may be made to Midwest Transplant Network.

Mr. Goold was born on May 13, 1971 in Jacksonville, FL. He was a graduate of Raytown High School where he was a member of the varsity wrestling team. He later graduated from Baker University with a Bachelor’s Degree in Business. In 1998, he started a very successful home technology integration company, G&H Audiophiles, with his childhood friend, Shawn Harrison. They have customers from the Midwest to Australia. However, his greatest accomplishments are his two boys, Jackson and Keighan. Chad also leaves a tremendous legacy of saving numerous lives through organ donation. He not only lives on in these individuals, but he lives on in the hearts of countless friends and family. He is preceded in death by his paternal grandfather, Jack Everett Goold, Sr. and maternal grandparents, Carolyn Grace and Howard Eldridge Battles, Sr.

Survivors include his sons, Jack Everett “Jackson” Goold IV and Keighan Lawrence Goold; wife, Beth Ann Goold; step-children, Gavin and Anna Gilpin; paternal grandmother, Ann Goold; parents, Alicia Jane and Jack Everett Goold, Jr.; sister, Alicia Kate and her husband, Bill Large; nephew and niece, Tyler and Makayla Large.
