Obituary

Jacquelyn Cassidy, daughter of Harold and Janet Lee, who was born April 20, 1940 in Los Angeles, California, passed away March 18, 2018. During the early part of her life, Jacquelyn lived in Kansas City, Missouri where she worked as an administrative assistant at MARC in the aging department. She spent latter years in League City, Texas with her husband. Jacquelyn was compassionate, confident, and free-spirited. Some of her favorite things included spending time with her family and friends, especially her grandchildren, crocheting afghans, relaxing in her beautiful backyard, taking day trips to the beach, and her cat Snowball. Jacquelyn was preceded in death by her parents. She is survived by husband, Donald Cassidy; daughters, Melinda Markway (Kevin) and Laurel Skinner; grandchildren, Jeffrey Markway, Ashley Jones (Billy), Daniel Skinner, and Emily Markway; great-grandchildren, Brayden Markway, Dominic Seitz, Carly Seitz, and Baylor Jones; stepsons, Walter Cassidy (Beth) and Michael Cassidy (Ashley); stepdaughter, Katrina Lowrey (Scott); stepgrandchildren, Jack Cassidy, Declan Cassidy, Brooklyn Cassidy, and Patrick Hogan. Services will be held on March 29, 2018 at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit, MO. Visitation from 6:00-7:00 pm with a memorial service immediately following. Memorial contributions can be made to the American Lung Association.
