In Memory of

Jeffrey “Jeff” Daniel Heuermann

December 15, 1954 - December 15, 2025

Obituary

Jeffrey Daniel Heuermann, age 71, of Holden, Missouri, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on December 15, 2025, his 71st birthday and the 50th anniversary of his decision to follow Christ. He was born on December 15, 1954, in St. Louis, Missouri.

Jeff was preceded in death by his parents, Daniel and Bernice Heuermann.

He is lovingly survived by his wife, Kelly Heuermann; his daughter Naomi Booth and her husband David, and his treasured grandchildren Bear, Foster, Porter, and Birdie; his sons Josiah Heuermann, Samuel Heuermann, and Caleb Heuermann; his brothers Greg Heuermann and Gary Heuermann; his nieces and nephews Jeremy, Julie, and Luke (children of Greg), Hannah, Kolby, Lauryn, Dylan, and Holton (children of Gary); along with many extended family members, friends, and all those whose lives he touched.

For 36 years, Jeff worked as a hearing aid consultant, a job he truly loved because it allowed him to help people every day. He had a gift for connecting with others, always ready with a joke, a smile, or a kind word. Jeff was known for his humor, his big heart, and his genuine love for people.

Above all else, Jeff loved Jesus. His faith shaped every part of his life, and for five decades he joyfully shared the gospel with anyone who would listen—friends, family, and even strangers. He lived with gratitude, hope, and a deep trust in God, no matter the circumstances. His life was a testimony of grace, love, and joy found in Christ.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, December 27, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:00 p.m. at Langsford Funeral Home, in Lee’s Summit, Missouri, followed by a funeral service from 12:00 p.m. to 1:00 p.m.  Family and friends are invited to gather to celebrate Jeff’s life, faith, and the legacy of love he leaves behind.  In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions to HopeCityKC, online at HopeCityKC.org, ‘Donate’ or make checks out to HopeCityKC, and mail to PO Box 6767 Kansas City, MO 64123.

Nearly 50 years ago I met you, Jeff, and God knit our hearts together for friendship. … I will miss you, my friend and we are praying for your family. Love you and we will meet again.

Kelly and Naomi,
How terribly sorry we were to hear about Jeff s passing but know he’s rejoicing and waiting for you and all who love him to join one day. He was such a kind man and not only do we remember him as such from many years at church together, but he also helped me so patiently when I needed hearing aid. What a blessing he surely was to many others, too, and we are sorry for the loss of your dear husband and father. You’re in my prayers.

God bless you Jeff you were a good man and an honorable man full of kindness and mercy bless all of your family at this time love you brother

I vividly remember the day you walked into the church in Rosebud as a teenager. My soul is flooded today with so many wonderful memories of those days and the many years since. You were always a Lover of God and a Seeker of Truth. You will be missed by so many. Go well friend. Godspeed.

I met Jeff at new covenant fellowship in saint louis missouri 49 or 50 years ago. The moment I met Jeff He touched my life and left a lasting impression of his gentleness, kindness, sincerity and his overflowing love for Jesus and others.
I enjoyed keeping up with him and his beautiful family on facebook. He will be greatly missed, but we will meet again soon.

Memories flood, my heart. We shared the Fellowship of the Holy Spirit. Now I share in sadness with the family for a brief moment, but soon we will see each other again.

My brother Jeff loved scripture so much that I will share some favorites rather than my own words:

Nothing can be hidden
“For there is nothing hidden that will not become evident, nor anything secret that will not be known and come out into the open” (Luke 8:17).
“What I tell you in the dark, speak ye in the light; and what ye hear in the ear, preach ye upon the housetops” (Matthew 10:27).
“Therefore do not fear them. For there is nothing covered that will not be revealed, and hidden that will not be known” (Matthew 10:26).
