My Uncle Jesse was a wonderful, kind hearted man. As a child I would spend time with Uncle Jesse and Aunt Julie at their lake home. He taught me how to water ski. I was fishing with him in the back of their cove where I caught a very nice large mouth bass. What a thrill it was for me. During those younger times the families would come together for the Thanksgiving and Christmas Holidays to enjoy good food and precious time together. Memories I will always cherish. Uncle Jesse and Aunt Julie would come over to my parents house to help out in their final years. Mom had suffered a stroke and Aunt Julie would help her bath. Uncle Jesse would lend a helping hand to anyone in need. He will be missed Riley D. Burrus Sr.

So sorry to hear of Jess passing. I worked with him as early as 1962 and through the years our paths crossed many times. After our retirement we kept in touch at the Sears Retirement gatherings.
Always greeted everyone with that great smile.
