Obituary

Jim (Jimmie)G. Bumgarner, born in Kansas City, Missouri on March 5, 1937, died peacefully in his sleep after having a long battle with a Heart Condition on December 1, 2021.
He was a renowned Architect in Kansas City up until his passing, and owner of Bumgarner Associates Architects/Planners out of Lee’s Summit, Missouri.
Jim was known for doing things in his own way, very particular and took pride in all his work. He loved to sing to Frank Sinatra and Elton John, he had a wonderful voice.
Preceded in death by parents, Collin and Bonnie A. Bumgarner; sister, Jeanette J. Bumgarner.
He is survived by his children, Bryan (Vivian), Danny (Pete), Jeffrey (Beverly), 6 grandchildren, 4 great grandchildren, other family members and a very close friend (Felicia).
His sense of humor, love of life and affectionate ways will be missed by all who knew him in their own special way.
