Obituary

Jimmy Dale Fox, 64, passed away on September 19, 2019. Visitation will be Monday, September 30, 2019 at Langsford Funeral Home from 10-11am. Memorial services will begin at 11am with military honors to follow. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Wounded Warrior Project.

Jimmy was born March 26, 1955 in St. Louis, Missouri to Owen and Irene Fox. He joined the Marines in 1972and was a pistol expert, rifle expert, and received the National Defense Service Medal. Jimmy was also a red eye gunner and operator. After leaving the service, he had his first daughter, then married the love of his life and had two daughters and many grandchildren. Jimmy worked hard building and selling car washes and equipment most of his life. Recently, he enjoyed retirement and spending time with his family and friends. He loved the ocean, scuba diving, the lake and horse shows. He was an avid gun, knife, hat and coin collector.

Jimmy is preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Bill, Owen “Sonny”, Bobby, and Charles Fox; and sister, Elizabeth Graves. Survivors include his wife, Cindy Fox; three daughters, Kimi Mather, Zabrina and Katrina Fox; grandchildren, Kierra, Torian, Austin, Kourtney, Dylan, Kyleigh, Haydon, Isabella, and Zoey; and two great-grandchildren, Kamari and Kiami.
