Obituary

On the 22nd of April, 2021, Johanna Dreher, loving wife and mother of one son, passed away at 91.

Johanna was born on February, 25th, 1938 in Kansas City, Kansas to Joseph and Hanna Bishop. She graduated from Vermillion High School in 1948. Johanna and Norman Dreher married on March 31st, 1948 in Centralia, Kansas.

Johanna and her husband thrived in the photography business and ran their own studio in Sabetha, Kansas. The Dreher’s also ran a Radio Shack alongside their studio, with Johanna running the logistics of the business.

She loved reading every book she could get her hands on and painting landscapes, often collaborating them with the photos taken at her and her husband’s studio. She was known for her sense of humor and her caring heart. She lived a fulfilling life, full of warmth and grace.

Johanna Dreher is survived by her son, Norman Eric Dreher; her two grand daughters, Brittany Dreher and Bianca Hoyer; and her great grand daughter, Phoenix Hoyer.

A graveside service will be held at Vermillion Cemetery, Vermillion, Kansas, at a later date.
