Obituary

Mr. John Dyer, Jr, 99 of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on Friday Dec. 23, 2022.  Funeral services will be 1:45pm Thursday Dec. 29, 2022 at Langsford Funeral Home with visitation prior from noon – 1:45pm.   Burial in Floral Hills East Cemetery, Lee’s Summit, MO

Mr. Dyer was born Oct. 20, 1923 in Sibley, Missouri to John David Dyer and Ruby Mahn Dyer.   He was a WW11 veteran serving in the Army Air Cor.  Mr. Dyer worked for Black and Veatch from 1948-1988 and was a Registered Professional Engineer for Missouri.

He is preceded in death by his parents, his three brothers James Edward Dyer, Robert Mahn Dyer and Charles Ray Dyer, his wife Dora L. Dyer and wife June Dyer and his daughter in law Stephanie Dyer and great grandson Joseph Dyer.

Survivors include his two sons, James D. (JD and Cheryl) Dyer and Michael Dyer, and his siblings Gordon Wayne Corn, Ivan Wendell Corn, Russell Elmer Corn, Goldie Mae (Dyer) Edgmon, Paul Edward Dyer, Mary Helen (Dyer) Welch, Franklin D. Dyer, Eugene Dyer, Charles Ray Dyer and Barbara Sue (Dyer) Wherli.
