Obituary
Juergen Peter Weyhofen, 75, of Lee’s Summit, MO, passed away on March 30, 2026.
He was born on September 20, 1950, in Lüdge, Germany, to Walter and Julie Weyhofen.
Juergen faced many challenges throughout his life. In his passing, we hope he is not defined by those struggles, but rather remembered for his big heart, his love of a good time, and his warmth. Though his path was often difficult; it was also marked with kindness, humanity, and love.
He is survived by his wife, Cynthia Weyhofen; his brother, Rick Weyhofen and family; his daughters, Katie Alexander and Amy Wojcik, along with their families; and his stepchildren, Abigail Smith, Lacy Caruthers, Taylor Bates, and Gregory King. He was preceded in death by his parents, Walter and Julie Weyhofen.
A celebration of life will be held at Llywelyn’s Pub, located at 301 SE Douglas Street, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063, on Saturday, April 11, 2026, from 4:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m.

to Juergen’s family ,i knew and respected Juergen and his father when I was in Juergens class in 1968. I liked and respected him then and as often happens lost track of him after high school ! My condolences to his family for their loss.!
My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family at this time of loss.
Please accept my sincere condolences. I went to high school with Juergen, and while it has been years since we spoke, I’ve never forgotten his spirit.
Wishing you peace and comfort.
Pam Russell Lichius.
My condolences to Juergen’s family at his passing. Juergen was my brother-in-law (Cindy’s brother). May he rest in peace.

Juergen Weyhofen met about 10 years ago and has been a great friend ever since. Our paths crossed from mutual friends but it turned out that we had a lot in common, from similar lines of work we had done, to music ( blues in particular) , herb gardens, and football to name a few. He would always ask how you’re doing and want to know the latest with someone. He was very wise and full of information too! I’m honored to have known you Juergen and you will be missed my friend. May you rest in heavenly peace for eternity.
Rest in peace, cousin.
