Obituary

Katherine Louise Howe (Buffa), age 72, passed away April 14, 2024, at her home in Raytown, Missouri. A visitation will be held at Langsford Funeral Home April 22, 2024, at 10:00 a.m. The funeral service will follow at 11:00 a.m. A burial will take place at 2:00 p.m. April 22, 2024, at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Higginsville, Missouri. The flowers are being arranged by Brigette Lytle of Raytown. The music will be performed by Rajean Buffa.

Katherine was born July 13, 1951, in Kansas City, Missouri. Katherine, in early life, lived in San Francisco, working at AT&T. From there, she moved to Surrey, England for 5+ years. Following her life in the UK, she returned to Raytown, Missouri. She owned and operated Breeder’s Choice, a pet supply store in Raytown for 8+ years. Later, she worked 15 years for the Salvajor Company.

Katherine was an active Christian, sharing her faith with juveniles at the Kansas City Detention Center for 10 years. She was very active in her family activities and her church. She will be missed and has gone to be with the Lord Jesus Christ forever.

Katherine is preceded in death by her father, Manuel Buffa and her mother, Mary Louise Buffa and her brother, Benjamin J Buffa. She is survived by her sons, Gregory Odneal, Vincent Odneal, Ryan Odneal, and Phillip Langer. She leaves her husband of 20 years, Gary L Howe.
