Obituary

Kenneth Patterson, 91, of Lee’s Summit, Missouri joined his wife, Barbara, in heaven on March 9, 2023.  He is survived by his three daughters, Debbie, Brenda and Eileen, his son-in-law Jim and grandchildren, Stephen, Ashley, Jereme, Kelly and Bailey.  They have blessed him with great grandchildren and even great, great grandchildren. He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather all of his life.  Before his wife passed, they enjoyed traveling and spending time with family.  He looked forward to the weekly phone calls from Stephen where he loved hearing about his home projects, his goofy Doberman’s antics and his latest woodshop creations.  He will be so dearly missed by his family.  Towards the end of his life, he received amazing care from Chris at Village Hospice at John Knox Village.

He will be privately interred at Mt Washington with a Celebration of Life to be held at the John Knox Chapel 400 NW Murray Rd Lees Summit Missouri on Saturday, March 18 from 2:00pm-3:30pm.  In lieu of flowers the family recommends donations dedicated in his name to Operation Breakthrough, Inc., Healing House Inc., or the American Cancer Society.

Girls, I just learned of Kenny’s passing. I am so sorry for your loss. He was a great man, we’ve had so many good times together. I lost contact with him after he moved to John Knox. It was so strange of learning of his passing, much to lengthy to write. Would love to hear from any of you. Franki Jensen 816-509-4448
