In Memory of

Kimberly Elaine Banks

Obituary

It is with great sadness we announce the passing of Kimberly Elaine Banks at the age of 62.  She passed away on November 14, 2024 due to complications of end stage renal disease.

Kim was born in Kansas City, MO on May 26, 1962, to Roy and Marjorie Banks.  She graduated from Truman High School in Independence, Missouri in 1980 and went on to study at Harding University in Searcy, Arkansas.

Kim worked for over 30 years in the health insurance industry.  She held many roles and enjoyed being a plan builder the most.  She worked for various companies including Mutual Benefit, Epoch, LeHood, and ended her career with ACI.

Kim enjoyed many things; she had a lifelong love of old movies and music.  She loved books, crafting and was a history buff!  She especially loved to be able to watch her niece play softball, even watching during her last hospital stay.

Kim was preceded in death by her father, Roy Banks.  Kim is survived by her mother, Marjorie Banks, her sister Leigh Ann Paull (Karis), her niece, Keighli and numerous aunts, uncles and cousins.

A memorial service for family and friends will be held Thursday, November 21, 2024, at Langsford Funeral Home with visitation starting at 10:00 A.M and the service will follow at 11:00 A.M.

In lieu of flowers please consider donating to a local no kill shelter.  Kim had a lifelong love of all animals (except spiders), especially her two cats, Thomas and Tallulah.
