Obituary
Lawrence “Larry” Wernsman was born on October 19, 1934 in Neodesha, Kansas. He passed away on December 19, 2020 in Kansas City, MO. He was preceded in death by his wife, Ana Maria Wernsman, his infant daughter, Elizabeth, and his sister, Rosetta Brown. He is survived by his eight children, Patricia (Steve) Spilker, Robert (Luci) Wernsman, Jackie (Pat) Murphy, Yvonne (David) Miguel, Edward (Julie) Wernsman, Karen (Kris) Poletis, Mark (Jenn) Wernsman, Susanna (Brooks) May; his 22 grandchildren; and his great granddaughter. Rosary will begin at 9:30am followed by funeral services at 10am on Tuesday, December 22nd at Our Lady of Presentation Church (130 NW Murray Rd, Lee’s Summit, MO 64081). All are welcome to attend. In lieu of flowers, donations may be sent to Langsford Funeral Home (115 SW 3rd Street, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063; 816-524-3700). Any monetary donations will be split as a memorial in Larry’s name to Our Lady of Presentation Church and Holy Rosary Cemetery.
