What a beautiful obituary. Sounds like your she lived full life and had so many loving family members. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Iam so sorry for the loss if I can do anything please let me know again sorry for the loss.

Lucille was an amazing woman of love, caring, and support. Her friendship with my mother, Edith Harrington, was exceptional in every way. They both had a great sense of humor, a big smile on their faces, and a big laugh as they enjoyed each other and the mutual giving they gave to others. They were both active members of the Southwood Church of the Nazarene in Raytown, Mo. Lucille became a member of our family. With my brother and I living in Texas, my mother’s emergency contact card in her purse gave directions to call Lucille first. If Lucille could handle it for mother, my brother and I would never hear about it until after the fact, if then. Lucille was the one who would determine whether she should reach out to me as the oldest son and get me involved. My father passed away when my mother was 77 years old. During the next 15 years until my mother passed away at the age of 92, my mother thrived in no small part because of Lucille’s close and loving relationship. She was family to all of us and will forever be in my memory. I cannot think of my mother’s last 15 years without also thinking of Lucille at the same time. Rest in peace, my dear friend, Lucille. We love you for who you were and for all you did for our family.

Our condolences go to the Mendez family. The Mendez family was our neighbor in Lees Summit for 22 years- Lucille was a very nice person- our daughters grew up together so I got to visit with Lucille often. I know she will be missed by many people- my prayers are with the family. The Witmer family

Only today we learned about Lucille’s death. So many found memories related to the dear Mendez family! Our last time together was a surprise encounter at a Gaithers’ Christmas event , years ago. Now , Lucille is with Jesus. To the family, our love and prayers for God’s grace during this difficult time of separation.
