Obituary

Marcella Rose (Leedy) Owens, 79, of Greenwood, Missouri passed away on Wednesday, August 5, 2020 at Cass Regional Medical Center in Harrisonville Missouri.

She was preceded in death by the love of her life, Ben Owens, her husband of 50 years.

Marcy will be remembered by her family as someone who enjoyed the simple things in life.  At the top of that list was spending time with her family.  She was also an avid reader and liked to sew and make quilts & afghans.

She is survived by her children, David (Judy) Owens, Doug (Angie) Owens, Debra Owens; grandchildren Elizabeth (Matt) Binder, Emily (Nathan) Witt; great grandchildren Auron, Aiden, MacKenzie, Grayson; brother Wayne (Linda) Leedy.

A graveside service is scheduled for 2:00 PM on Friday, August 7, 2020 at Lee’s Summit Cemetery in Lee’s Summit, Missouri.  In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to the American Alzheimer’s Association.
