Obituary

Margaret (Pat) I. Collins (Mossman), 81 of Lee’s Summit, MO passed away on January 31, 2021 at Lee’s Summit Hospital. Pat was born March 6, 1939 in Osceola, MO.

Pat Collins was a devoted wife and loving mother who loved her Heavenly Father and her family. She married the love of her life, Bill Collins, in March 4, 1955. They were celebrating almost 63 years together before Bill passed. She loved her children. She enjoyed vacations at Table Rock Lake for many years. She loved water skiing.  She devoted herself in taking care of her children, grandchildren and great-grandchildren.

Pat was employed at Western Electric and later on in a dental office. She was very talented in music, art, baking, sewing and gardening. Se loved jigsaw puzzles, fashion and photography.

She was preceded in death by her father, Orville LeRoy; mother, Dorothy Elizabeth Mossman (Schnetzer); husband, Bill L. Collins and sister, Edith Crain

Survivors include her children, Cynthia A. Mountjoy (Rick), Billy L. Collins (Robin), Tim S. Collins (Candace), Michelle Barker (Eddy). Grandchildren, Melissa Mountjoy, Duke Mountjoy (Aimee), Brad Mountjoy (Kayla), Megan Holly (Chris), Dakota Collins, Erica Slocum (Kurt), Michael Danbom, Stephen Danbon and Brian Danbom. Great-Grandchildren, Malachi Tye, Kayden Mountjoy, Garrett Slocum, Jordan Slocum and Erik Danbom; and brother, Ed Mossman.

Pat left a huge impression on all who knew her. She was dearly loved and will be missed. No funeral service will be held. Family will be meeting privately.
