Margaret Pollock Obituary

Margaret Pollock

October 18, 1936 – April 24, 2025

Lee’s Summit, Missouri – Margaret “Peggy” Pollock, beloved wife, mother, grandmother, sister, aunt, teacher and librarian, passed away peacefully with family at bedside on April 24, 2025 at the age of 88. Peggy is preceded in death by her husband, William Pollock, her son, Jeffrey Nichols, and daughter-in-law, Kelly Nichols. She is survived by her sister, Bettie Shortt (Danny) and brother, William Anderson, Jr. (Eva), her children Elizabeth Nichols, Charles Nichols II, Christopher Nichols, grandchild, great-grandchildren, nieces, nephew-in-laws and great-nieces.

Peggy requested a “short, short, very short obituary,” so here it is in her own words: “I have been blessed to help others and to see my goals accomplished. There is not enough time or paper to write all the names that I love and will miss. Be good so I can see you on the other side!”

We are grateful to One Community Hospice & Palliative Care that provided loving support and hospice care in the family’s home.

Per Peggy’s request, there will be no visitation or funeral services in Missouri or Texas. She will be buried next to the love of her life and high school sweetheart, William Pollock at Seaside Memorial Park, Corpus Christi, Texas.

Arrangements by Langsford Funeral Home, 115 SW 3rd Street, Lee’s Summit, MO 64063.
