Obituary
Marilyn Hanrahan Freeland passed to the Lord on March 31, 2025. A visitation will be held on Monday April 7, 2025 beginning at 10:00 a.m. at Langsford Funeral Home in Lee’s Summit, Missouri with Service at 11:00 a.m. A burial service will follow at Mt. Olivet Cemetery, 7601 Blue Ridge Blvd, Kansas City, Missouri 64138.
Marilyn was born in Kansas City, Missouri on June 2, 1940, to Thomas and Wanda Hanrahan. She was a graduate of Bishop Hogan High School and the University of Missouri Kansas City School of Education. She taught in Kansas City, Missouri and Lee’s Summit, Missouri. Marilyn represented Welcome Wagon International in Lee’s Summit from 1980-1998.
She was preceded in death by her parents and her brother Tom, she is survived by sons Tim Freeland (Andrea) and Toby Freeland (Raegan), 4 grandchildren Kalyn Holcomb (Eric), Kelsey Freeland, Emily Freeland and Sullivan Freeland, and 2 great grandsons Jack and Miles Holcomb.
Marilyn was a loving mother who adored her two sons. She will be greatly missed by many. May she now find peace and joy beside her parents and brother in the gates of heaven.

So many great memories of Marilyn…so kind and wonderful friend. We will miss her greatly. God Bless to all.
We want to express our love and support during this time. We knew Marilyn for many years and enjoyed her colorful personality and fashion! Ha! We were so happy to become part of the family with her when her son Toby married our daughter Raegan. To Tim, Toby and all the family we know this is a time for remembering and being thankful for your Mom. We can all be comforted to know that now she is at peace.
