Margie was born to parents George Edward Thomas and Nettie Thomas in Kansas City, Missouri on March 31, 1926. Margie lived a very full life. In retirement, Margie enjoyed her family, especially spending time with her grandchildren, gardens, and her pet dogs. Her quick wit and humor made her friends to all; she will be dearly missed.
Margie was preceded in death by her husband Cecil Ray Lewis. They were married 64 years. She was also preceded in death by her son, Cecil (Corky) Ray Lewis, Jr. She is survived by her other four children Gary Wayne and Rita Lewis of Lee’s Summit, Denis Carlton Lewis of Lone Jack, Mo., Linda Lee and Barbara Lewis of Ft Myers, FL and Kimothy Sue and Spurgeon Norman of Bella Vista, AR; six grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
