Obituary

Mark Albert Mettler, born on February 11, 1939, in Sedalia, Missouri, passed away on December 25, 2024, leaving a legacy of cherished memories and loving relationships. He was preceded in death by his devoted wife, Karen, as well as his parents and all his siblings, including his twin brother, Marvin Mettler.

Mark is survived by his son, Mark Alan Mettler, and daughter-in-law, Tracy Mettler, who together with their daughter, Sydney Mettler, and her fiancé, Lucas Irvine, will carry on his memory. Mark’s family was the cornerstone of his life, with whom he enjoyed countless moments of joy and togetherness.

After dedicating 28 years of his career to General Electric, Mark retired to pursue his passion for fishing and to spend time at his beloved lake house. He found immense happiness in the tranquility of nature and the company of his family, who brought him great joy and fulfillment.

Mark will be remembered not only for his hardworking spirit and dedication to his family but also for the warmth and love he shared with those around him.

Rest in peace, Mark. You will forever remain in our hearts.
