We can not express the grief we feel in Mark’s passing. He was loved by this family and will be greatly missed. Chiefs Games will not be the same without him.

Mark was a wonderful person with a heart of pure gold. He will forever be missed and loved. Vickie, Will and Jessie, and family, you all have my love and prayers.

So sorry for your loss, praying for your family through this difficult time. Mark was a very nice man and will be missed .

We both worked with Mark at Merck, and fondly remember his typical greeting of “What’s up Sunshine?”.

He will be greatly missed. Our condolences to his family.

You are my best friends dad… you and vickie had my back 100% when i was going through tough times. You welcomed me into your family and treated me like nothing other. You made me my very first Mojito…with fresh mint. Im so sorry i didnt get to say goodbye. Seeing you and Vickie… together. Is one of the only times i have ever seen such true unconditional love. You two were born soul mates. I only hope to have a love like that. I never got to tell you that… and you are such a kick ass dad.. Rest easy.

We are so very sorry for your loss. Mark was such a really nice guy. We enjoyed being around you both for the times we were together. He definitely will be missed.

It is with heavy hearts that we are sending our condolences. You will always be family and Mark’s memory will forever be in our hearts and on our minds. Stay blessed and rest well mark.

Our deepest sympathies to your family. I only met Mark once (at William and Zoe’s wedding) but enjoyed the conversation we shared. I distinctly recall being so happy that my niece gained a wonderful and loving husband as well as amazing in-laws also. Thinking of you all today and the difficult days ahead – Aimee

My deep condolences to Vickie and children, Jessie and William and their children. My heart breaks for Sherri and Betty and Paul. Us girls and Mark and Sherri grew up together! Our mothers worked together and our parents played cards on the weekends, leaving us kids to entertain one another. We moved to Independence and soon they became neighbors building a new house down the street. We all went to school together and spent time together when our parents played cards on the weekends. We had a great childhood and will forever be remembered!! My prayers will go out for the Family that they feel his presence and can smile again soon.

I am so sorry for your loss. I’ve known Mark all of my life and have a lot of great memories. Paul, Betty & Sherry…so sorry I was not able to make it to his services. You all, along with his wife, children and grandkids are in my prayers during this difficult time. Hugs to you! 💔
